China´s massacre in Truong Sa archipelago in 1988 (real footage and English script)

A short documentary tells the story of Vietnamese sailors and navy soldiers, who fought courageously against Chinese navy forces in order to protect their nation's belonging waters and islands in 1988. It also shows an irrefutable proof of Chinese Navy forces' crime.

Using overwhelming armed forces, Chinese Navy forces killed 64 under-equipped Vietnamese sailors, prevented and destroyed unarmed Vietnamese vessels from saving the injured. This defending battle lasted for a few hours at three reefs nearby the island called Sin Cowe, one of the largest islands in the Truong Sa archipelago, which is located at a distance of over 1000 km far from the undermost Chinese coast at Hainan island and rightly belongs to Vietnam.

In this battle, Vietnamese navy soldiers were instructed not to initiate gunfires. This was to prevent China from alleging to launch a war invading the entire Truong Sa archipelago. "A war of nerves" came to an end with the failure of Chinese navy soldiers, who initiated the gunfires.

Chinese Navy' brutal and inhumane attacks seriously violated Vietnam's sovereignty and international laws. The film has raised a question of criminal charges against the Chinese government, once led by Deng Xiao Ping, for the course of justice.

With proven historical evidences and an uninterrupted possession, Vietnam has been exercising her sovereignty over the archipelagos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa in the East Vietnam Sea, which is also known as "South China Sea". However, China has her continuing ambition for hegemony to control natural resources as well as maritime transportation routes, thus having been initiating conflicts with her neighbors, especially Vietnam.

The film was edited from archived footages, which were shot by Chinese Navy forces during their invasion of Vietnam's belonging Truong Sa archipelago on March 14th 1988. The footages of this battle haven't yet been published by Chinese army as there were no initial gunfires from the Vietnamese soldiers as expectations.
