Vietnamese students in Melbourne protested to condemn Chinese government (full video)

Before two marches by Vietnamese inland, Vietnamese students in Melbourne (Australia), on June 4 2011, organized a mild protest in front of Chinese general consulate in Melbourne to condemn recent activities by Chinese ships in Vietnam's belonging waters.

The group insisted on Chinese patrol ships' illegal activities that had entered deep into Vietnamese territory, harassed Binh Minh No.2 - an oil survey ship of PetroVietnam and cut off its exploration cables. Chinese government then falsely accused Vietnamese ship of having violated China's sovereignty, said the protesters.

In the protest, the students read out together an eternal testament by Vietnamese King Tran Nhan Tong, which demonstrated Chinese disrespect towards conventions on national borders and disputes between two countries mainly caused by Chinese initial actions.

The students concluded their mildly protest by requiring a responsible explanation and apologies from all related individuals and organizations; and calling Chinese government for maintaining the peaceful and stable relationship between two countries.

After a short video published on June 4, the students published the full video of the protest as an effort to transmit a message to the world that Vietnamese people would love peace and friendship.

Check it out. The video is added into play-list VIC7 - V-Youth
