Wo Ai Yue Nan (I love Vietnam) - A song composed by a Taiwanese teacher in Hanoi

In the last last class with a Chinese club - ITCE (Hanoi, Vietnam) in late May 2011, teacher Du Lao Shi, from Kaohsiung (Taiwan), played an MV of his own as a special gift for his dear students.

The song titled Wo Ai Yue Nan (or I love Vietnam) was composed by the Taiwanese teacher and his son - a Taiwanese composer. It was performed in both Chinese and Vietnamese by Du with a warm and emotive voice. Especially, the refrain "I love Vietnam / Thank you Vietnam / Sincerely see you again! Vietnam" shows the author's profound love towards Vietnam.

The video is created with images shot by the teacher during his trips in Vietnam with his students, and also images about Vietnamese students' activities, which the teacher was part of them.

This song has brought an abundant emotion to Vietnamese people as it is one of many beautiful songs about Vietnam, which was composed and performed by a foreigner. It demonstrates a profound affection which foreigners have reserved for an friendly and peaceful Vietnam.

Check it out. The MV is added into play-list VIC3 - V-Music. This description contains information from Youth e-Newspaper (English version)
