"The lake" - a short film about Vietnamese children from two ethinc groups

"The lake", which was a graduation project of students at Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema, was directed by Đào Đức Hải.

It tells a story of children from two ethnic groups in Vietnam - the Kinh and the H'mong. They go into fighting for childish reasons, but they subsequently reconcile with each other and build up a long lasting relationship. The film also demonstrates the solidarity and harmonious life between different ethnic groups in Vietnam - the country of 55 different ethnic groups.
